I called the night before, was told that the next day they didn't really have the space for the hair cut. I was going out of town and I have long hair, so Itold them that I really only wanted a trim. So they put me in. The woman I saw also had lovely long hair, so I felt assured that no extra cutting was going to be going on! The color was matched, the treatment done (she told me the reason she was at this salon was because she loves the keratase products and not too salons have it.) I equated to let my hair air dry. The treatment left my hair soft and shiny (she said it lasts 4-8 shampoos) and my hair does not smell like I just had it just been colored. Dispite the disclaimer that the tribute doesn't cover tax or tip, when I went to go, they just told me that everything was taken care of, I didn't need to pay anything. Whether that was because of my short trim, rather than a full out hair cut, I don't know (And I left a $20 tip anyway, because, Wow! I want to go back!) the last time I had my hair colored they I was charged $120, (add the tip and it was $140). And while good, my hair still smelled like it had "had something done to it." This was a deal no matter how you looked at it. I really don't want to tell everbody about it, but hey, ya can't help braggin', either!	5

My hair is absolutely AH-MAZING and its all because of Brad at Genray Salon. I'm so excited I finally found a salon in the Marina that I trust with my hair! I discovered this gem only after a close friend updated her look with a fresh cut and color  that she got at  Genray Salon. My hair is a big deal to me so before I could commit to making an appointment I wanted to check the salon out and thankfully they carry my two favorite products (bumble and bumble and Kerastse) so I had an excuse to go in without having to be such a diva about it :) Whoever was working that day was super sweet and gave me the space I needed to browse the products. Another stylist offered me some good tips on the types of products my hair needed without making me feel like she was trying to "sell" me (big bonus! ) the vibe there is super comfortable. I didn't make an appointment or even buy a product that day but went back a couple weeks later and received a brazilian blow out and color from Brad. Loooove him and his service! He did what I wanted him to do with my hair but better. He knew what my hair needed, suggested the right treatments (the brazillian was his recommendation)and products that not only made my hair feel but also made my hair look better than I thought it ever could. My hair is manageable, healthy, shiny, sexy and receives compliments all the time! Thank you Brad and the rest of the team at Genray Salon- They get a big thumbs up from me.

To be honest I was sceptical at first after reading revews at Yelp but I already bought the coupon for Brazlian Blowout. So I went to GenRay Hair Salon in order to exchange my coupon for different service. I told them the reason is because of bad reviews and they told me that they switched to a better product which is way better than what they used before. They were very nice and offered me a test strand for the Brazlian so I wore it for a couple of days and liked it and went back to get the whole Brazilian and I just love it! The staff was so helpful and polite. I will definitely come back for other services
